Who is the ninth steward
Not the hero of a clean rewrite. The current custodian of a car that already had a long, strange, and documented life before California.
What the 9th Route is
Routes 1–8 are the documented past. The 9th Route is the live chapter: the restoration log, the workshop record, and the work still being measured.

Measure first. Preserve evidence. Separate fact from inference. Improve only where the decision can be defended.
